My love for Disney started with Sunday night movies as a kid, but I didn't step into Walt Disney World until my 2007 honeymoon at Port Orleans Riverside. We thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip — we were so wrong! Years of park memories with my husband and two kids and a magical Disney Cruise Line anniversary later, my passion led me to serve as a planDisney panelist in 2017. Helping guests plan was incredibly fulfilling. When my term ended, I knew I couldn't stop. Joining ClickTheMouse was the perfect way to keep turning my lifelong love into magical vacations for other families.

Growing up, Disney was just a dream on my television screen during Sunday night movies. I never got to visit as a kid, which made my first trip — my 2007 honeymoon at Port Orleans Riverside — feel absolutely surreal. We honestly thought it would be our only visit, but walking down Main Street, U.S.A., changed everything. Since then, Disney has become the backdrop of our family's greatest milestones. From watching our two children light up at the parks to celebrating our 10th anniversary on our first Disney Cruise in 2017, it's where our best memories live.

What makes Disney so special to me isn't just the rides or the castles; it's the pure, uninterrupted connection with the people you love. Disney brings out the childlike wonder in all of us, and sharing that magic is everything to me. Even though our two kids are now teenagers, Disney is our time machine. The second they see the castle, hear the music, and smell the popcorn, they instantly transform back into the three-year-olds who fell in love with the parks on their first visit.

As a proud parent of a transgender teenager with autism, and a child with a severe tree nut allergy, I truly understand that travel isn't one-size-fits-all. I'm originally from Sturgeon Falls, so to my Northern Ontario friends and families — I'm always ready to help you plan your next escape! When I'm not talking all things Disney from my home in Ottawa, you can usually find me hanging out with my family and our white German Shepherd, Bolt (yes, named after the movie!).
