Alexis Simon, Disney Travel Advisor in Halifax, Nova Scotia

My love for Disney began long before I became a mom, when I had the incredible opportunity to work as a Cast Member on the Merchantainment team in EPCOT's Canadian Pavilion. Today, experiencing Disney through my own children's eyes has made that magic even more special. Planning our family's Disney vacations is something I genuinely love, especially discovering ways to make the experience accessible for my son with complex needs. I became a Disney travel planner to share that passion, help families feel confident in their planning, and create unforgettable memories together. Every family deserves a little Disney magic!

Disney has been special to me for as long as I can remember. I have wonderful memories of being there as a child, and my love for Disney has continued to grow throughout my life. Having the opportunity to work as a Cast Member in EPCOT's Canadian Pavilion made that connection even more meaningful. Today, sharing Disney with my own children is one of my greatest joys. Our son's wish trip holds a particularly special place in my heart. The pure happiness we experienced as a family, and the sense of healing that came with it, reminded me just how powerful these experiences can be. Disney has a unique way of bringing people together, creating unforgettable memories, and filling even the simplest moments with magic. For me, Disney is more than a destination; it is a place where joy, connection, and cherished memories come together.

My service style is all about making families feel supported, understood, and excited for their next adventure. As a mom, I know that every family is unique, and the best vacations are the ones that reflect what matters most to them. I love getting to know each family, understanding their priorities, and helping bring their Disney dreams to life with thoughtful planning and personalized recommendations. My own experience navigating Disney with a child with additional needs has given me a special appreciation for accessibility and the little details that can make a big difference. Whether it's your first Disney vacation or your next magical adventure, I want every family to feel confident, cared for, and ready to make unforgettable memories together.

One of my favourite Disney memories is watching my four-year-old son ride the carousel in front of Cinderella Castle, completely overwhelmed with happiness. Seeing the pure joy and wonder on his face in that moment is something I will cherish forever.

Magic Kingdom will always be my favourite park because it captures the heart of Disney magic, from the breathtaking sight of Cinderella Castle to the timeless attractions that bring beloved stories to life. There is something truly special about experiencing the park through my children's eyes and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

I joined ClickTheMouse in 2026. Before planning vacations, I spent a year as a Cast Member on the Merchantainment team in EPCOT's Canadian Pavilion. I have visited Walt Disney World more than 15 times and have sailed on the Disney Dream and the Disney Magic, with Caribbean itineraries among my favourites. My park visits have taken me throughout Walt Disney World and to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and I have enjoyed the VIP tour and the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Every family deserves a little Disney magic, and I would love to help plan yours!
