NEW DISNEY EXPERIENCES BY LORI

My family and I are frequent Walt Disney World visitors and pretty much felt that we had done it all.  Well, after this trip, we have learned that there is still more we can do.  We always try to do something new each visit whether it is a new hotel, restaurant, party or ride.  This time we did that and more.  We stayed at 2 different hotels, went at a different time of year, were part of the 24 hour party, experienced 2 Star Wars Weekends (more on that in another post), ate at many different restaurants, saw different characters and 2 different shows.  We also park hopped using boats (Epcot to Hollywood Studios), almost completed the Wilderness Explorers guide at the Animal Kingdom and completed 2 rounds of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.

Our most entertaining Character Dining Experience (not Star Wars related) had to be Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.  The stepmother, Drizella and Anastasia absolutely STOLE this show.  If you play along, the experience gets even better...mention cats or kittens to them and show them pictures. Our new favourite hotel is now Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (club level-try it once if you can).  We had a view of the Wishes! fireworks ever night with Wishes! music pumped throughout the resort, even under the water at the volcano pool! (see picture)

Our favourite new character that we ran into in Tarzan at Animal Kingdom. (see picture).
