From the first moment I laid eyes on the beauty of Cinderella Castle, at 4 years old, I knew there was nowhere else in the world I would rather be, then the happiest place on earth…Walt Disney World! I quickly mastered my Disney pout and before long, flashing that pout had us packing our bags and headed out to visit my good friend Mickey!
Most of my most cherished childhood memories involve a Disney character or attraction – my dad spinning our tea cup on Mad Tea Party until we were dizzy with joy, that musty smell of fog as we sailed passed Dead Man’s Cove on the Pirates of the Caribbean, and my panicked shriek as I could no longer hold down the gas pedal on my Tomorrowland Speedway car and realized I was stuck mid track on my first solo race!
I truly believe that being immersed in the Magic of Disney at such a young age and throughout my childhood made me the person I am today. From the courage to pursue my dreams to win motorcycle racing championships (surely my Tomorrowland Speedway fiasco played a part in that) to raising my kids surrounded by love and magic….I have to Disney to thank for much!
I now find the tables turned and my own 3 precious Mouseketeer’s have mastered the Disney pout! There are no words to describe that feeling a parent gets when seeing their child’s eyes light up with joy as Cinderella Castle comes into view and I must now admit that my cleverly designed Disney pout was not the magical force that drove my parents to Disney all those years, but the indescribable feeling that a parent gets seeing their child’s unsurpassable joy!
Walt Disney World is my happy place and my passion! There is something magically adrenaline evoking when planning a WDW vacation! There are so many different ways to do Disney and what might work for some, may not work for others! I am a pound the pound the pavement must see/ do everything type girl, while my husband is the laid back, do not put me on a schedule type! I have a 5 year old Jack Sparrow in training, a 4 year old who is convinced she will be the next Disney Princess and a tween with ever changing interests! My multi-generational and diverse family certainly keep my Disney planning skills sharp! I have mastered making and keeping my family happier then Olaf in Summer during our Disney Vacations and would love nothing more than to share my passion and Disney knowledge with you while helping plan the most memorable Disney experience ever!Favorite Disney Character: None other than the Mouse himself!
